The City of Scribner will be completing final testing of the ELECTRICAL GENERATION and switchgear, starting Monday, February 8, 2021 at 11:59 P.M.
**In the case of a winter storm, alternate testing will be 11:59 P.M. on Thursday, February 11, 2021.
Power will be shutoff to the entire electrical distribution system so that an emergency startup scenario with no power can be initiated.
We anticipate just a few minutes of no power.
The City of Scribner regrets any inconvenience this may cause our customers but we are thrilled to be able to offer our town reliable backup power in the case of an emergency.
