Hittin’ the Bricks // Cruise Night

Starting: May 2nd @ 6pm.

It’s definitely an odd time we’re living in right now, and some are having a hard time adjusting to the isolation.

Scribner would like to try and help, by giving people the opportunity to get out of the house.

Other towns have been doing cruise nights lately, in the name of social distancing, and we also want to participate in giving our town something to look forward to after a long, monotonous week indoors.

Bring out your convertibles, show off your cars, trucks and motorcycles; even if your car isn’t something you want to show off, bring it out anyway and come wave at fellow social distancers on Main Street. You can be with your family or you can come alone; our cruise night does not discriminate!

The kick off night will feature our Scribner-Snyder seniors, led in a parade by Scribner’s Chief of Police, Jake Brainard.

We really want to recognize and honor our seniors with all the hard work they’ve done through the years. They stuck with it and made it, and we don’t want to overlook that accomplishment!

**Our Trojan seniors are asked to line up in their vehicles at the school by 5:30pm on May 2nd, to help kickoff the cruise.

Hittin’ the Bricks, will be every Saturday night in May from 6-6:45pm.

Scribner Express will be featuring $1 ice cream cones, Mel’s will be serving popcorn and drinks, Z’s will also be offering weekend to-go orders, which have yet to be announced.
