WHAT IS THE BIG GIVE?
The Big Give event is a 24-hour fundraiser for area charities and projects in your community.
But with the recent COVID-19, the Big Give will begin accepting online donations April 20th through May 5th.
HOW SCRIBNER IS INVOLVED
We live in a great town, and you can help make it even greater!
The Scribner Area Foundation has been keeping your donated funds in the community since 1998.
During the 2019 Big Give– the foundation helped raise money for the Scribner Swimming Pool.
For the 2020 Big Give– the foundation would like to finish what they started for our Scribner families by continuing the renovation of our city’s pool.
PLANS
2019 Pool Projects: Replaced patio seating, purchased sunshades and basketball hoops
2020 Pool Projects: Sandblast and repaint entire pool surface, purchase 11-foot-high slide, replace 2 drains, replace all 8 skimmers and repair piping to baby pool

Don’t think your $10 will make a difference? It only takes 10 people to pledge $10 to make it to $100!
Even if you don’t feel led to donate – perhaps consider sharing the event to give your friends a chance to participate!
The donations made are 100% tax deductible. After your donation, you will be emailed a receipt from the Fremont Area Big Give.
HOW TO DONATE
Go to https://www.fremontareabiggive.org/scribnerareafoundation anytime between April 20th and May 5th
OR
Drop off your donation in the city office drop box. Donors who deliver gifts in person will receive a tax receipt by May 31st.
Anonymous donors will receive a tax receipt from FremontAreaBigGive.org but will not receive a tax acknowledgment directly from the individual organization.
