Ho Ho Ho

In a small town’s heart, November’s chill in the air,
On the 25th, at 6 PM, everyone gathers with care.
A Hallmark scene, a moment so rare,
With Santa’s grace, and love to spare.

Streets adorned with lights, sparkling so bright,
Children and businesses, a festive sight.
In winter’s embrace, under the starry light,
Scribner’s transformed, a wonderland’s height.

The highlight is Santa, a magical knight,
In a sleigh so grand, a pure sheer delight.
Early in the season, a pure festive rite,
Kids share their wishes, under the moon’s light.

At Scribner Library, after the parade’s site,
Santa awaits, with smiles that excite.
Kids meet him there, their faces so bright,
In their memories, this moment’s alight.

Hot cocoa, gingerbread, shared every mite,
Beneath the tree, shining with all its might.
In Scribner, love and unity unite,
A reminder that Christmas is pure and right.
